We unconsciously hear noises every day. Some come from nature, but most are manmade. These various and numerous noises are intangible, but not only do they fill our space but they overflow it. These noises may be traces of people’s desire to dominate our everyday life in a convenient way.

Kim Young Sup portrays the characteristics of these everyday noises through concrete images. He disregards the symbolic or calligraphic elements that purport to identify them, opening a new horizon for auditory perception of objects by inducing disagreements between the noises. He presents concrete visual objets and, by associating them with noises that are basically unrelated to them, raises an objection to the thoughts and understanding that modern people commonly and habitually share.
