Open Submission Call
9th October a screening of selected work by media artists projected onto the entire frontage of the city centre Civic Hall building in Millennium Square, Leeds. Using high end projection this will form the centre piece of the annual Light Night festival 2009
FESTIVAL – LUMEN

Lumen’s highly acclaimed international Evolution festival is an annual showcase of exceptional programmes of work from leading and emerging artists that use media in their art. The festival began in 2001 and has become an established event in the exhibition of art that experiments with media.
The artistic programme has evolved into a year round showcase of exciting events for audiences of experimental contemporary film, video technology & sound art. Everything from large-scale outdoor projections onto public building, attracting audiences of over 46,000, to cinema screening with artists talks.
